You can feel safe and confident in the knowledge that I work within the BACP ethical framework on issues such as professional conduct, confidentiality and safety in all of my counselling work. My continuing membership of the BACP means that I have to continually attend ongoing training to update my knowledge. I have monthly supervision to talk through my work and to ensure that I am working in the best interests of all my clients.
How do you know you’re getting counselling? Seems like an odd question but many people go in for counselling and psychotherapy without knowing what to expect. If you are new to therapy, then it’s important to be able to recognise what constitutes an appropriate and professional service.
